Community Action Council - $15,000  

Support for the Step Up Preschool Screening Initiative to provide multi-disciplinary screening services (hearing, vision, developmental, social and emotional, speech and language and oral health) to 100 eligible children who are not currently enrolled in one of the three early intervention programs available in Howard County for children from low income families. Children in need of remedial services will be referred to appropriate service providers for intervention. CAC will provide follow-up and identify needed resources for those children needing interventions.
