Days of Taste is an educational discovery-based food program for elementary school age children.  It provides them with an opportunity to experience and compare diverse food tastes, visit a farm and prepare a fresh salad.  The program encourages children to eat a variety of whole foods and emphasizes the importance of balance in food for good eating and good health.  Building on the pilot at Swansfield Elementary School, Days of Taste is proposing a similar program for 12 Howard County elementary schools.
