This project will fund part-time staffing for medical monitoring and assistance for adults with mental retardation. The grant also serves as a challenge grant to improve fundraising capacity.

AIDS Alliance of Howard County, $3,500
The grant supports four community education events for persons with AIDS/HIV, their families and other supporters. The grant also serves as a challenge grant to enhance fundraising efforts.

The grant establishes Hispanic Outreach centers in two schools to assist Latino families in accessing needed community services.
