2003 Grants
The Horizon Foundation's HYAC grant program to address the concerns of Howard County youth also enables young people to act as grantmakers. HYAC members solicit grant applications from the community, evaluate the proposals and then award the funds. The successful grant applicants from youth-led organizations are also monitored by the HYACers as they implement their projects.
