Conference Inspires Relationship Building

(The View from Ellicott City) -- Thirty-seven Howard County residents attended the Search Institute's Ninth Annual Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth Conference in Dallas, TX. The group learned about promoting health and wellness in youth and strengthening the community. The Howard County Connections Initiative of the Horizon Foundation has formed a partnership with the Search Insitute in Minneapolis, MN, who has pioneered the 40 developmental assets, described as "concrete, common sense, positive experiences and qualities essential to raising young people."
