Officers and Deaf-Awareness

(The Baltimore Sun) -- Fifteen membes of the Howard County Police Department recently took classes to learn basic sign language and ways to be more sensitive to the culture. The classes were funded by a grant from The Horizon Foundation, and are part of a larger deaf-awareness program within the police department.
