Grant's Aim is Better Communication by Police with the Hearing Impaired

(The Sun - Howard County) -- The Howard County Police Department said yesterday it was awarded a $23,667 grant from the nonprofit Horizon Foundation to fund sign language training and "deaf awareness" seminars for officers.
