Local Disaster Plans Aim Closer to Home
Thursday, December 2, 2004(The Columbia Flier) -- Laminated cards with instructions on how to prepare for a disaster such as a major hurricane or terrorist attack are being distributed through Howard County libraries as part of an effort to prepare for such emergencies. The cards are a part of a countywide program called the Community Emergency Response Network, a program in conjuction with community partners and The Horizon Foundation.
