Library Now Central Point for Information on Cancer

The Howard County Library has announced the opening of its new Cancer Information Collection.

Housed at the central library in Columbia's Town Center, the collection offers access to understandable, accurate, current information about cancer and cancer care for patients and their families.

The collection is a community project created in cooperation with the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, Howard County General Hospital, The Horizon Foundation, American Cancer Society, Howard County Health Department, Howard County Office on Aging and Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource and Image Center.
