Columbia resident receives scholarship from Horizon Foundation

(The Baltimore Sun) -- Matthew Madera, of Columbia, has been awarded a scholarship by the Horizon Foundation to attend the Leadership Essentials program of Leadership Howard County.

The six-month leadership development program is designed for young professionals who are considered rising stars and have expressed a personal desire to be engaged in community service.
