The scam claims individuals have been awarded a grant or inheritance, and the scammer demands fees to give the funds to the individual. The Horizon Foundation does not distribute inheritances and does not award grants to individuals. To receive a grant from the Horizon Foundation, an organization must be a tax-exempt non-profit or a public entity. We never charge any kind of fee for receiving a grant.
