Shari Arroyo-Brown

Shari leads strategic communications efforts that advance equity-centered public health solutions and strengthen community engagement, advocacy and narrative change. With more than a decade of experience across philanthropy, government and mission-driven organizations, she develops integrated communications strategies that elevate public awareness, deepen stakeholder relationships and inspire action around systems change. At the Horizon Foundation, Shari helps amplify the Foundation’s vision for a healthier and more equitable Howard County through media relations, digital storytelling, advocacy campaigns and community-centered communications. She is passionate about translating complex issues into compelling, people-focused narratives that build trust and drive impact. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and cultural experiences and spending quality time with her family.
