Having worked within nonprofits for over 20 years, Stephanie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as an administrative professional and in engaging the community. She has a passion for helping others develop and in connecting with others to collectively impact the community.
Stephanie manages administrative tasks and provides executive support to the Foundation president, chief operating officer, board of directors and staff assisting with office administration, communications and meeting space coordination.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has chosen positions within mission-driven organizations making a real difference bettering the lives of the local community. Prior to joining the Foundation, Stephanie served as both the executive assistant to the president and communications and marketing specialist at the Community Action Council of Howard County whose mission is to diminish poverty in Howard County by layering programs such as food assistance through the Howard County Food Bank, early childhood education through Head Start, energy and housing assistance.
Stephanie has held several community volunteer positions including as a board member of the Girls on the Run of Central Maryland and community coordinator and captain with Athletes Serving Athletes. Through these volunteer positions, she has worked to develop and empower others to celebrate their uniqueness and reach their individual full potential.
Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science from Salisbury University and is a graduate of Leadership of Howard County Essentials. She lives in Columbia with her husband, daughter and doodle pup.
