Tiffany Callender selected as 2018 Terrance Keenan Institute fellow

The Horizon Foundation is pleased to announce that Tiffany Callender, senior program officer, has been selected as a 2018 Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy fellow. She is one of 17 health grantmaking leaders nationwide to be named to this group.

The Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy was founded by Grantmakers In Health with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The institute offers the opportunity to enhance the professional development of health foundations’ most promising staff leaders. The program fosters relationships among the fellows; connects them with established figures in the field; and reflects key themes from Terrance Keenan’s work and writings such as leadership, innovation, taking risks and the creative deployment of resources available to grantmakers. The program’s emphasis will be on leadership development, mentoring, and building connections that can endure throughout the fellows’ careers.

Callender is a graduate of the Leadership Howard County Class of 2018 and the Massachusetts General Disparities Leadership Program. She is currently also part of the National Council’s Addressing Health Disparities Leadership Program.

Callender holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern University and a master’s degree in social work from Temple University. She also holds a Project Management Professional Certification.

Congratulations, Tiffany!
