Host our Mental Health Film Festival!

Are you a fan of our Mental Health Film Festival? This year, partner with us on one of our most popular events!

The Horizon Foundation’s Mental Health Film Festival is an event to build awareness and compassion for members of our community facing mental health challenges.

This year, we are seeking community partners who want to take the lead. We know many of you are passionate about mental health. And we know there are lots of potential films and topics relevant to our community. Well, we want you to choose the films! We want you to guide the reflections! We need partners to co-host this year’s festival so it can best meet the truest needs of our community.

The Basics

  • Grant funding will be provided to organizations selected as co-hosts.
  • The film festival will be virtual; each co-host will have a virtual stage, to showcase their chosen film and guide attendee reflections.
  • Showcases other than films (e.g., poetry, music) will be considered.
  • Co-hosts will not need to set up their own virtual platform; the Foundation will coordinate the technology.

Interested? Here’s what comes next

We know you probably have a lot more questions – we’d love to talk with you! If you’re interested in learning more about this partnership opportunity, reserve a time to talk with our staff. We’ll talk through the plan for this year’s festival and share instructions on how to apply to host a stage.
